Hieno hotelli

Geraniotis Beach -hotelli oli erittäin hyvä hotelli todella lähellä Plataniaksen ydinkeskustaa. Keskustaan pääsi mukavasti rantaa pitkin kävellen tai pääkatua pitkin. Runsaasti kauppoja. Plataniaksesta pääsee helposti parilla eurolla bussilla kätevästi hotellin edestä Hanian ydinkeskustaan. Pikkuisilla junilla oli kiva käydä päivän retkillä. Hotelli oli aivan meren rannalla, ranta oli myös todella hyvä. Vedenrajassa oli hiukan isompia kiviä. Lokakuussa oli suhteellisen kylmä uida meressä, joka oli pettymys. Tuuli myös usein, jolloin mereen ei päässyt. Baareissa oli suhteellisen hyvä tarjonta All Inclusive -asiakkaille. Pst, juomia ei ollut laimemmettu. Ruokakin oli todella hyvää ja suhteellisen monipuolista. Päärakennuksessa huoneemme (kahden hengenhuone) oli todella vanhanaikainen, puuovet ja ihmeelliset rivat. Vessan pöntöt vetivät huonosti niin kuin kuulema muuallakin Kreikassa ja Kreetalla. Sisustus vanhanaikaista. Muutenkin huone oli aika ahdas ja parvekkella ei voinut kunnolla voinut viettää aikaa, kuivatettiin vain uimahousuja ja pyyhkeitä (joka haittasi lähinnä muita matkatovereitani). Meitä ei kuitenkaan oikeastaan haitannut, koska huoneessa emme viettäneet aikaa paljoa, oikeastaan vain nukkumiseen. Meillä oli suora näkymä merelle, vain +9€. Siivous meillä oli 6krt/vk, ja ei moitittavaa. Hotellilla on TODELLA ystävällinen henkilökunta!! Yleisesti todella hyvä hotelli.

On the Beach, lot of space!

Lovely family run hotel On the beachside in the end of village Platanias. Modern rooms and apartments. Great atmosphere. Lot of space with a big green garden and pool Area. Quiet. A short walk (100 m.) there is a big supermarked (Lidl). There is a lot of taverna and shops in the village. Wifi (incl) worked perfect in the rom. Big dining Area for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Beach is not crowdy at all ! Will definitely stay there again!

Calm surroundings - Good quality for your money

The hotel is located on the edge of Platanias no noise from the "town" but only a short walk from restaurants and tourist shops. Apartments are clean, cozy and nice, not new but in good shape, Had a second floor two room with a nice balcony with side view to the sea. Nice pool array with a lot of space, pool bar with some food available. Bus to Chania just outside the hotel. We did not have all inclusive, we used town restaurants and bought bread and other stuff from bakery and Lidl nearby the hotel..

Save your money

In the first day we arrived, our sheets were dirty - i don't know what kind of cleaning are they doing. In the room is always a bad smell - if you don't let the window opened, you just can't breathe in there. The room is small, and the furniture is old. Also, regarding the food: the breakfast is always the same, nothing special. The diner sometimes is ok, but also they keep serving mostly the same dishes.. The beach is a mess, all the sand is mixed with all kind of garbages, and everyday there are big waves, not ok at all for swiming. There are many families with kids, so if you want to relax and have a good time, this is not the place to be. Overall, this year our holiday is a fiasco.. We are very sorry for choosing this hotel. Definitely, not coming back the second time.

Amazing next to the beach

Very beautiful location, right next to the beach. The hotel was very clean and I really loved the cleaning lady who was folding our clothes! The breakfast was amazing with many local traditional products, low fat and many vegan choices. The staff was very friendly. I totally recommend it and for sure I’m going to stay at this place again next year!
