Mukava, lapsille sopiva hotelli

Olimme perheen kesken 12 päivän reissussa, 3 lasta mukana, 2, 6 ja 7 vuotiaat. Hotellilla erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde. Huoneet siistit ja mukavat, vasta remontoidut. Hyvin suunnitellut kun terassilta ei äänet kuulu makkariin. Saimme vähän syrjemmästä huoneen niin oli erittäin rauhallista. Uima-allasalue kiva, ruohomatto altaiden ympärillä lasten kannalta erinomainen. Lämmitetty allas oli oikeasti lämmin, 27 asteista joten lapset tarkenivat uida hyvin, muutenkin allas kiva kun matalampi pääty alle metrin syvyinen, ylsi lapsillakin jalat pohjaan. Pienemmille lastenallas. Oli myös ei lämmitetty allas joka syvempi, siellä sai rauhassa uida. Hyvät aurinkotuolit ja valvonta sujui hyvin. Päivisin ohjelmaa altaiden luona. Meillä oli all inclusive, ruoka oli yllättävän hyvä, aina löytyi jotain syötävää. Tuoreita hedelmiä paljon ja hyvä salaattivalikoima. Lapsillekin sopivaa syötävää oli. Aamupala ok. Bussikuljetus toimi hyvin rannalle, muuten vähän syrjässä mutta kävelymatkan päässä 2 kivaa leikkipuistoa.

Excellent time had by grand daughter and myself

Well we didn’t expect much as reviews were not that good BUT we had an amazing time, Bungalows we’re great, never found a fault with them at all, clean bedding and towels etc every 3rd day, staff were so helpful especially in reception, they couldn’t do enough for us, we went S/C but ate at hotel often, food was ok, Pool was great and plenty deck chairs for everyone .. only fault we could find if you can call it a fault is no A/C but they do supply a big standing fan which was ample it was roughly around 32 deg while we were there, have rebooked for next year Thanks guys for a fantastic time Sophie and Catherine Christie Room 2 ❤️

Don’t listen to all of the bad reviews!

I booked this last minute as a cheap winter getaway. I must say that after reading the reviews I was slightly worried. We arrived after around an hour on a joint shuttle transfer, this included dropping off at multiple locations beforehand. We were extremely happy with our room. Very clean and spacious. Bathroom was quite big with a walk in shower, however there is no bath so bare this in mind if you have little ones. Each bungalows has its own spacious private terrace with a table, 4 chairs, 2 sunloungers and a parasol. Kitchen was well equipped with a hob, cutlery, crockery, pans, fridge/freezer. We were all inclusive so we didn’t use any of these items apart from the fridge. My only downfall room wise was that we were right at the top of the hill in room 39 so was quite a steep walk back. The pool area was very clean, plenty of sunloungers (although it was quiet with not many people around) and they were quite new. There were still plenty of empty sunloungers to choose from in the afternoon. There were also parasols around the pool. One pool is heated and one isn’t, don’t go in the cold one! The food wasn’t the best. There were no labels on things other than a picutre of a chicken or cow above certain foods. There isn’t much choice however you will always find something to eat. We ate out quite a few times due to this but we didn’t mind for the price that we paid for the accomodation. The bar had a good choice of drinks. The beer on draft is tropical, they had different cocktails and soft drinks. They also had water that you could help yourself too all day. Bare in mind that all inclusive drinks doesn’t start until 11. We bought a can of coke from the vending machine in reception to keep us going until it started. There are fruit juices during breakfast but they are extremely sweet and tangy. The entertainment is quite poor. There is a lady who is on 4 times per week singing mostly spanish songs. She would then play a few songs where people did get up to dance. Bingo is also on each night that she is on. On the days that there is no entertainment there is no music on in the background, which made it quite boring. We played pool with a few drinks. It is cheap enough to get a taxi elsewhere. We went to the Yumbo centre twice and enjoyed a lovely steak in Tropicana. There is also a restaurant 2 mins up the road that is reasonably priced. Next to the restaurant there is a large spar that sells everything that you need. Other than that, there is not much around within walking distance. We didn’t mind this as it was a cheap all inclusive getaway and we didn’t mind getting a taxi out. Reception will order you one it you just ask. All in all, we had a brilliant time. You cannot go wrong for the price you pay. Don’t listen to all of the negative reviews!

Nice short break

Stayed here for a short 4 night break in the first week in March. Have to say for an official 2* property it exceeded any expectations I had. Bungalows look to have been updated. Spotlessly clean. Great size lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, with great walk in showers. Fresh towels and bedding every other day. Every bungalow has its own private terrace, with sunbeds, table, chairs and a wonderful view of maspalomas and the sea. Pool , bar, restaurant area is really nice. New sunbeds, and plenty of them. Half the pool is heated. Food, while very limited is well cooked and decent quality. There is an entertainer on 4 nights a week of which we didn't see so can't really comment on her. Vista oasis is on the outskirts of sonnenland/maspalomas , up a steep hill , in a residential area so not ideally placed for walks or shopping etc. There is a big spar shop 2 mns up the road for essentials. Overall its more than worth the money and makes for a great cheap base if exploring the island by car, or just chilling out for a bit of sun, but a bit out of the way and a bit small, for what i would think for a main family holiday.

Good value 2 star accommodation

Have just returned for a 7 night stay at this accommodation and found it to be excellent value for the money we paid for an all-inclusive break. The bungalow we were given had a large balcony overlooking the valley below and then sand dunes. It was bright and clean with a modern bathroom and a kitchenette. The buffet is perhaps a little limited however, there was always something that we could eat and the variety in the food was good. There is a microwave if you want to heat up the food further, which I did from time to time. The drinks are good and the wine and beer were quite pleasant. A slight niggle is that the fruit juice machine for breakfast is not good and the juices are very sweet and we could not drink them. Yes, this accommodation is in a quiet residential area a little off the beaten track, however that is what we wanted and a taxi to anywhere nearby will not cost you more than €7. The courtesy bus to the beach is very hand.
