Hyvä hotelli kauniilla ranta-alueella. Hyvä ruoka.

Olimme todella tyytyväisiä lomaamme Alcudiassa Mallorcalla hotelli Playa Esperanzassa. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, rannalla. Laaja puutarha-alue tarjosi mahdollisuuksia auringonottoon tai varjossa lepäilyyn. Huoneemme oli ylimmässä kerroksessa hyvällä merinäkymällä. Ravintolassa ruoka oli erittäin hyvää ja monipuolista sekä vaihtelevaa, meillä oli puolihoito. Alcudian ranta on maailman parhaita uimiseen ja hotellissa oli lisäksi useita uima-altaita. Iltaisin oli viihdeohjelmaa. Hotelli sopii kaikenikäisille, myös lapsiperheille.

Hyvää ruokaa joka kerta

Tämä jättiläismäinen hotellikompleksi koostuu isosta päähotellirakennuksesta ja kolmesta asuinrakennuksesta jotka sijaitsevat yhdellä kauneimmista Mallorcan rannoista - Alcudia beachilla. Osa hotellista on remontoitu hiljattain. Vastaanotto ja ruokailualue hyötyivät tästä prosessista. Huoneista uusittiin lattiat mutta muuten ne olivat samanlaiset kuin ennen. Hotellin johto investoi mielestäni turhaan hienoihin Samsungin HDTV:ihin, TV-signaali on alueella huono. Olisivat mieluummin tuhlanneet uusiin patjoihin koska ainakin me nukuimme huonosti näillä kovilla patjoilla joista saattoi tuntea myös jouset. Huoneessa oli myös pieni jääkaappi, kassakaappi (lisämaksusta), kylpyhuoneessa on suihku ja hiustenkuivaaja. WiFi-yhteys on tarjolla vain yleisissä tiloissa. Se on kuitenkin hidas ja vaatii joka 15. minuutti uutta kirjautumista.. Pysäköinti on ilmaista. Huoneesta pitää maksaa etukäteen, mikä on vähän outo käytäntö. Näin ei myöskään ollut viime vierailumme aikaan. Suurin syy, miksi tulemme uudestaan tähän hotelliin vuodesta 2006 asti, on uskomaton ruoka! Mahtava valikoima sekä aamiaisella, että illallisella. Illallinen tarjoillaan kahdessa erässä: 18-19:30 ja 20-21:30. Ensimmäisenä päivänä päätarjoilija kertoo teille, missä ruokailuvuorossa saatte syödä. Ulkoalueilla on allas ja paljon tilaa ja aurinkotuoleja. Tarjolla on rantapyyhkeitä 15 punnan hintaan. Hotellin hintaan kuuluu yksi spa-vierailu mutta tähän ei kuulu mitään hoitoja.. Toivottavasti hotellin johto uusii huoneita lisää ja vaihtaa patjat. Jos nämä asiat eivät muutu, meidän on pakko mennä jonnekin muualle ensi kerralla.

Too expensive for what you get

400€ Per Night. Water not included in HB. Omelette Only White eggs not on demand cause there are more than 1000 guest at The hotel and cant discard so many eggs. These detais wont retain customers.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. Too expensive for the service and quality you get. We won’t come back. Pros: nice beach, kids club. Cons: service, accommodation. Here is our summary: Expensive. Booked 5 months in advance and paid around EUR 550 per night for half board. Turns out the apartment we had booked was offered at EUR 300 per night during our stay, probably because the hotel was not fully booked. So our advice: don’t book too much in advance. Food quality. We took the half board package. The food is okay but not outstanding. Meat is usually overcooked, fish sometimes undercooked. Prawns never marinated and the vein never removed. There is a large selection of food though: always several options of meat, fish, salads, veggies, cheese, bread, fruits etc. It changes everyday at night. The breakfast has also many options but it is everyday the same. Service. First time we come across this: the staff knows better than you and if they can give you a lesson they will do so. The client is not king in this hotel. Someone stole our beach towel, they answer “well, you shouldn’t let it on the long chair all day without surveillance”. Also, check in start from 15:00 and our room was not ready. They have not apologized for the delay or offered any compensation. The staff is in general not friendly except rare exceptions at the restaurant, the cleaning ladies and the kids club ladies. Also, don’t expect someone to help you take your luggage into your room, this service does not exist in this hotel. Accommodation. We had an apartment on ground floor with sea view. The apartment must be around 20 years old. We find it too expensive for the price we paid. Furnitures are not great, beds not very comfortable, bathroom very basic. It takes forever to fill up the bath tub. There are ants everywhere in the apartment: on the terrace, inside the bathroom, inside the wardrobes etc. The walls are thin; it is very noisy. You hear people talking in corridors, moving chairs etc. Kids club. Great kids club with many many toys for all ages. Staff is very friendly too. The mini disco at night is also very good. Kids love to go there and dance, the girls and guys there do a great job with the animation. The pools could have more slides for kids. Spa. The facility is not outstanding but the masseuse is really good. Pool. The pool is not cleaned often enough and lacks a shaded area for children.

Best service, best location , beach front, excellent breakfast/dinner spread, perfect for families.worth for money, kids area, play area, private beach area, many restaurants inside, shops inside, swimming pool sauna, well being.
