Läheinen ranta on todella mukava. Useimmat ihmiset osaavat puhua saksaa, ja hotellilla työskentelevät ihmiset auttavat sinua kysymyksissäsi ja voivat antaa myös hyviä vinkkejä Mallorcan matkaasi varten. Menisin hotelliin uudestaankin.
Enjoyed the stay - good value for Port d'Alcúdia
The impression I take away from our stay at this hotel is that of a taught, well-run ship with quite competent management. It is very clean, modern and all facilities are in working order. We experienced a very friendly staff across the board and always felt at home. I stayed at this hotel with a friend for a number of weeks. We booked half-board ad a room with a pool-view. A few critiques I have of this hotel involve the food served. These are detailed below. Rooms The room was quite small, but with a pleasant modern design, light and airy, and very clean! The bathroom was well-sized, modern and everything worked as expected! Breakfast First, the most important topic: coffee. The coffee machines for the buffet breakfast use fresh beans, ground for each cup, and offer multiple coffee forms - espresso, cappuccino, etc. Say no more. The breakfast in general is fine, not spectacular but good. Fresh eggs, crispy bacon, hard-rolls, toast, and fresh good-tasting fruit were some highlights for me. Some additional fruit varieties could possibly be served—we had almost the same every day. Many of the other breakfast standards are also available (juices, cereals, yogurt, marmalade, sweets). Churros were served about once a week. Nice. Dinner Buffet Each evening’s dinner is loosely based on a theme (Spanish, Fish/Seafood, Meat, Vital, South America, Italy). The dining room has a modern, yet warm and inviting atmosphere. The food served from the main grill was usually of decent quality, and fresh. The cooks did a good job in preparation from the grill, not overcooking the food, etc. Some highlights for me: the fresh salmon, spareribs with a honey glaze and roasted chicken. There are also plenty of vegetarian dishes on offer. Some of the weaker points for me were: 1) the hot-dogs (ugh), 2) the hamburger meat did not look very appetizing (maybe just appearance?), 3) the lasagna and the pizzas (served almost every night and on Italian night) really could use an upgrade. Quite a few of the dishes were a bit boring in my opinion. Some tastier recipes, with more creative use of herbs and spices, and better presentation would help—especially for the Italian and South American themed dishes. That said, a few gems for me were: spinach salad with goat cheese (I think that’s what it was at least on one occasion), a tasty humus and some tasty salads boosted with herbs like cilantro. A decent selection of cheeses was provided on some evenings. The desserts looked colorful, varied, and appetizing but many of them unfortunately tasted very similar--as if all were based on the same cake batter. Here also there were a few exceptional standouts which were quite good. Half-board wine selection: a few labels of each type red, white and rose are available. We usually ordered the red from the Ribera del Duero which we enjoyed. The Rioja white wasn’t bad either. In general, regarding the half board buffet the value for money is not bad but I think the overall food rating resides at the lower end of 4-star category. It is well-suited for families with children in my opinion. Evening Entertainment Although the entertainment in the hotel is not so important to me, I think that most of the evening programs were of a better quality than I would have expected—a few excellent musical duos on stage. Overall, even though there may be better 4-star hotels of this type, considering the value for money, I can definitely recommend this hotel. It is just a few minutes’ walk from some very nice beaches of Port d’Alcúdia area, many restaurants, car-rental agencies, and so on. It is very clean, modern and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Great stay..perfect choice for alcudia
Nice hotel, amenities and location. Breakfast and room was good however room was smaller than expected. Lots of bars and restaurants near by with the port within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely hotel in Alcudia
Lovely hotel! First impressions were great, we arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne in reception - staff are so helpful! Rooms were bright and clean and had a nice balcony view overlooking the pool. Good air con as well - it only turns on once the balcony door is fully shut. Cleaners came around every day although once or twice they missed a couple things (ie no fresh towels/didn't empty the bin etc) but to be honest that's no biggie, our rooms were pretty clean anyway, and the staff at reception were happy to give us fresh towels when we asked. We were half board and had breakfast just once in the hotel, as we are more lunch/brunch kinda people. Continental with a selection of hot/cold meats, pancakes fruit, yoghurts cereal etc - really nice. For dinner, we ate the hotel twice; on BBQ night and oriental night. BBQ night was really lovely, huge selection - Oriental night was ok, (a tad bland). Desserts were lovely each night, again plenty to choose from. The bar/restaurant by the pool is 10/10 we ordered lunch/snacks there several times and the food was amazing, and the cocktails are fab as well. Again the staff working there are great, really friendly and helpful. The pool area is immaculate, really chill vibes - it has a swim up bar as well, great music and can order drinks to your sun lounger. Can't fault the hotel in any way, really enjoyed our stay!
