Perus hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla

Hotelli oli remontoitu puoli vuotta sitten, mutta huone ei näyttänyt siltä; seinät oli naarmuilla ja täynnä likaisia jälkiä, meikkitahroja ja ovi täynnä mitälie likaa. Siivous oli siis heikolla tasolla, koska näitä ei oltu siivottu ennen tuloamme eikä niitä siivottu koko viikon aikana. Myöskään lattioita ei pesty kertaakaan viikon aikana, siivous oli käytännössä lakanoiden vaihto (jos jätti lapun sängylle) ja pyyhkeiden vaihto (jos pyyhkeet jätti lattialle). Siivousaika myös vaihteli päivittäin eikä sitä voinut ennakoida, eli jos jätti pyyhkeet lattialle odottamaan vaihtoa eikä siivooja ollut käynyt, niin olisi pitänyt käyttää likaiselle lattialle jätettyä pyyhettä. Aikuisten puolen allasalueen aurinkotuolit oli kaikki varattu pyyhekillä jo 7 aamulla, mutta varaajat ilmaantuivat paikalle vasta tuntien jälkeen, jos silloinkaan. Allasalueelle alkoi paistamaan aurinko vasta 12 aikaan. Läheiselle rannalle käveli onneksi vain 5miinuttia, jossa vietimmekin koko viikon edellä mainittujen syiden takia. Aamupala oli hyvä ja monipuolinen, muuten emme syöneetkään hotellilla. Hotelli sijaitsi aivan rantabulevardin lähellä, jossa oli paljon hyviä ravintoloita ja kauppoja sekä pari kauppakeskusta. Playa De Las Americasiin käveli nopeasti rantaa pitkin, ja taksikin maksoi sinne vain 5 euroa. Sijainti oli siis meille loistava, kun etsimme rauhallista paikkaa josta pääsee nopeasti ja helposti joka paikkaan. Vuokra-auton sai helposti hotellin parkkiin, hinta oli 12 euroa päivältä. Myös läheisen kadun varteen olisi voinut jättää. Hyvä perus hotelli, mutta hintalaatu-suhde ei kohdannut. Ei sviitti-tasoinen tai hieno, vaan ihan perus 3-4 tähden hotelli.

Lovely stay

I would not listen to the bad reviews on this hotel .everything was spot on .1 small issue was the food a bit repetitive but not off putting as there was always something. Rooms really clean .staff brilliant .I stayed on adult side .it was nice & quiet & never saw a child once all in all 10 out of q0

Lovely week

Myself and best friend have just returned from a week at this hotel & have had a lovely time. Spotless hotel, good location and decent food! The animation team were fabulous every day; particularly Valerio, Alex, Cesar & Luis! Would most definitely return, thank you - Las Veronica’s Twins ;)

Great hotel, poor food.

We stayed here with our family, 6 adults and 1 infant. Firstly the hotel it’s self is lovely, the decor is fantastic and really makes you feel luxurious. The rooms were good, very spacious and well equipped. The pool was lovely too, not too busy in May which was ideal for us. The staff were lovely and always helpful. The location is pretty good too, short walk to the beach/shops etc.. The main thing that let this hotel down was the food. The buffet is not very good. The best way I can describe the food is ‘mushy’. Crispy bacon was not crispy. The chips didn’t have any crisp to them. All the meat felt like processed cheap fake meat. The bread was stale. The choices were poor, very little variation, no themed night and same food every night. There’s also a lack of plain food for kids, our 15 month old lived off of tomato pasta for the week. You also can’t get tea or coffee after dinner service as they switch the machines off. The snacks during the day were poor, stale bread, stale pastry’s. All in the buffet food felt cheap and nasty. Didn’t enjoy any of it. However the actual hotel, the staff and everything else was fab. Just the food really let’s this lovely hotel down. We have been to similar standard hotels where the food has been better and it was around the same price.

A good family hotel….

Overall we had a great experience at this hotel….. Pro’s - The hotel is super clean and the room cleaners do a brilliant job. The hotel is very nicely decorated and modern. The animation team work hard and have a good relationship with the children. Close to Siam Park, the beach, bus stops and the airport. We stayed on the family side and had 3 lovely pools to choose from and a splash Park. Great hairdryer in the room! Comfortable beds. The rooms are spacious with lots of room for luggage. Pool towels were included for free. As a type 1 diabetic , it was great to have lots of sugar free drink options. WIFI though out there hotel is very good. 2 of the pools were heated, even in May, which was lovely. Con’s - The food was repetitive and the buffet included items which I have no idea what they were! There food labelling was limited and the food is very cool. There is a microwave but you shouldn’t have to use it. It wasnt clear what was included in the All Inclusive option at the snack bar. The food at the snack bar was limited and cool. Toilets were limited throughout the hotel, the 1 toilet near the evening entertainment had a lock which was broken and never got fixed. Also the toilets had movement sensor lights, but they turn off very quickly, so you end up sat in the dark! Ok for adults but children don’t like it, The bubbles bar never opened, so it was a bit of a trek to the bar for drinks during the day if you were at the 2nd quieter family pool.
