What a great place to stay at ! For a very affordable price you stay in a very clean and nice spacious room with the comfort of a Marriott bed! Nice breakfast and an amazing pool, beach is 2 mins walking distance with a nice beachbar! Very nice view from the room, we are in a room facing the taj hotel, seaview on both sides !! The BEST thing is the staff!! How warm and friendly and always smiling and super helpful they are !! Honestly i am superimpressed with all the staff! From the checkin with mister bong, staff at the reception, at the restaurant and at the beachbar ALL are suuuper amazing ! I feel welcome here and at home away from home !! Thank you sooo much!!!!

A European holiday village on the beach

Everything I needed for a European beach holiday without a European visa. Perfect location on the Jumeirah Crescent for social media influencer work. Drawbacks: the swimming pool water was too warm. Also, muslim women enter the swimming pool fully clothed without showering beforehand, so be aware of that, although most guests used Western nylon swimwear in the pool and used one of the two showers next to the pool. There was no wi-fi on the private beach. Also, no internet on the beach. There is a beach bar, but it only has half a dozen bottles, of which only two are top-shelf, and the barman can't deviate from the set cocktail menu. The beach bar also offers pizza, which I'm guessing comes from the hotel kitchen. One shot of hard liquor cost $15, so next time I'll buy my own bottle from duty-free to bring myself. The guests appeared to be Western, except for one Indian couple and one Muslim family. Even so, the hotel was nearly empty. I stayed on the 11th floor. I had great views of Jumeirah beach, the water, the City, and the sunsets from my balcony. The 11th floor might have been the only floor open, as far as I could tell, as the hotel was not busy at all. I shared the private beach with no more than half a dozen private guests. My bank card did not work at the ATM, although it worked at hotel points of sale. Breakfast buffet had good choices. Staff was professional, and actually most seemed British. My CoVID19 test easily was arranged at the Activities tour desk:
